Sometimes you have to swim around in these new sensations… long enough to play with them and learn about how they function! If they function well, then we can begin to re-train our brains to redefine this sensation as something we want.”

When we’re starting to work on something new with our animals, or learning an entire new way of being with them, it’s important not to get discouraged. Keep working at it! Things can take a while to really soak in and settle into habit.
